What Does It Mean To Be “ALL-IN” On The Five Choices?

What does it mean to be “All-In” on the Five Choices? Simply put, it is recognition that God calls us to greater commitment to Him, His people and His Kingdom work in the world. So, what keeps us from responding to that call? The truth is, life is demanding, which can leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted; life can be confusing, which can leave you discouraged and in despair; and life is uncertain, which can leave you insecure and anxious. 

At Thanksgiving, we know that the difficulties in life can indeed be overcome with joy, hope and love---that is, in fact, what the Bible promises for every follower of Christ: “I have learned the secret of living in every situation...  For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:12-13 

We also know that while we desire to be fully-devoted followers of Jesus, we don’t always know how to live out our faith life the way God intended. That’s why we have identified the Five Choices.   

We believe the Five Choices will help you take your next steps in truly experiencing His joy, hope, and love while more truly embracing how God uniquely created you. When we choose to be in community, choose to serve, choose to grow, choose “one” to invest in and choose to be generous, it gives us a foundation for living our lives in both the good times and the difficult times. In short, we become more focused on His kingdom and less on the cares of this world.

WHAT AM I COMMITTING TO IF I AM “ALL-IN”? 

The life of discipleship requires intentionality, therefore, we are asking that everyone who chooses to be “All-In” to let us know that you are committed to growing in all five areas for 12 months.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE ALL-IN WORSHIP NIGHT? 

If you would like to join us to learn more about the Five Choices, we welcome you to join us at our annual All-In Worship Night on Sunday, November 16th at 5:00pm for dinner and a celebration. It will be a time to renew our covenant with God and one another, hear about exciting things happening and things to look forward to. In addition to the meal, this fun gathering will include a time of worship and communion.

Space is limited, so make sure to register early! Sign up by no later than Nov 10th.

WHAT IF I AM NOT ALL-IN? 

If you are not “All-In”, that is completely okay. As a matter of fact, we expect that most people will not be “All-In” for all Five Choices. However, we do encourage you to select one or two of the choices that you want to grow in over the next 12 months.
