Description: A prayer for Corinne Schmidt, who is at Hillcrest rehab center where she is getting physical therapy and improving every day, but she has x-rays next week of her leg to see if her femur bone has healed enough to be able to put weight on it and start walking. I pray that we have good news from the x-rays and she has not had a blood transfusion recently, so her cancer may be at a standstill. So continued prayers to our heavenly father, who I ask for healing and good health along with comfort and love. Prayers to our Lord so she may be able to return home or wherever she will be calling Home.

Description: Dear Lord, We lift up Nyssa, JR and Nadra Ewing's granddaughter, as she prepares for back surgery on Tuesday. Please guide the medical team with wisdom, skill, and steady hands throughout the procedure. Grant Nyssa comfort, strength, and peace, and surround her with Your healing presence during her recovery. Amen.

Update: Gennie released from hospital today to rehab! God is good! Thanks for your prayers!
Description: My college roommate Robin’s mother (Gennie) is in the hospital with cardiac issues. She’s quite frail, and her sister died this morning, but they can’t tell her because of the heart. Please pray for Gennie’s healing, and for Robin and her family to have strength and peace in a difficult time. (Gennie is a strong believer and I know she’s ready whatever the Lord decides - Robin’s lost a lot and is very close to mom, so it would be quite hard for her.)

Description: Please pray for my college friends, Mark and Sharon. Mark had a heart attack and is undergoing triple or quadruple bypass this morning. Pray that the procedure goes well and he will heal completely.
