What is City Serve?

City Serve is about ONE church working together for the good of ONE city. Thousands of volunteers unleashing unprecedented compassion in partnership with local schools, city parks, food banks, blood banks, children’s hospitals, children’s homes, homes for seniors, homeless centers, first responders, juvenile centers and so much more!

City Serve isn’t an event, but a movement of people who declare in word and action, “We love OUR city,” and are committed to seeing it flourish.

LOVE OUR SCHOOLS DAY

Love Our Schools Day is an annual citywide invitation to rally around one of the most important places in every neighborhood: our local schools. Each year, individuals, families, churches, businesses, and teams across the metro come together to serve in ways that are thoughtful, practical, and shaped by real, identified needs. Love Our Schools Day creates a focused opportunity to show up with care, generosity, and tangible support.

Saturday, September 26th
Betz Elementary | 605 W 27th Ave, Bellevue
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Join us on Saturday, September 26th as we bless the campus of Betz Elementary through acts of service, connection, and care. Let's show God's love in action and help create a welcoming space where students can thrive! Serve projects will include: weeding, spreading mulch, trimming rose bushes, and power washing. This is a great serve opportunity for all ages and stages. Come serve as a family or with your life group!

We’ll have snacks and water provided, and we recommend you bring sunscreen, work gloves, sunglasses, sun hats, and any extra pruning tools or shovels you may have.

— Stay tuned for volunteer signups —

“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
